Norkol, one of the largest independently owned paper and packaging providers in the nation, has reaffirmed its commitment to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) by more than doubling it’s 2017 annual gift in 2018. Half of the total donation has gone to the national organization headquartered in Arlington, Virginia, while the other half was provided to a local NAMI branch in Illinois.
Since July of 2017, Norkol has publicly supported NAMI after announcing their official partnership as a StigmaFree company. Each year, the paper and packaging converting operation pledges to donate a minimum of $5,000 from the profits of their Packaging News & Moving Pads Division. Norkol’s continued success has allowed them to more than double their promised annual contribution for 2018.
In addition to contributing a portion of their net proceeds from packing news to the cause, Norkol also wraps its packing news distribution in green wrap to match NAMI’s official color, which is internationally https://canadianpharmacy365.net/ recognized as the symbol for mental health awareness. Norkol hopes that their public advocacy will draw more attention to both the stigma of mental health issues, as well as the hope and support available.
